Option 1 - 10/15 Years Guaranteed Lifetime Fixed Annuity

Within the guaranteed period:
If the annuitant passes away during the guaranteed period, the beneficiary will continue to receive the fixed-income annuity until the end of the 10-year or 15-year guaranteed period.

After the guaranteed period:
If the annuitant lives longer than the guaranteed period, he/she will continue to receive a lifetime fixed-income annuity for the rest of his/her life.


Option 2 - 10/15 Years Guaranteed Lifetime Fixed Annuity - Joint Annuitants

Within the guaranteed period:
  • Annuitants will receive the 100% annuity and if either annuitant passes away, the other will continue to receive 100% annuity.
  • If both annuitants pass away, the beneficiary will continue to receive 100% of the annuity until the end of the 10-year or 15-year guaranteed period.
After the guaranteed period:
  • If both annuitants live longer than the guaranteed period, 100% annuity will continue.
  • If either annuitant passes away, the other will continue to receive 2/3 of the annuity for the rest of his/her life.

Remarks:

  1. An Immediate Annuity is a contract by which an insurance company will pay a regular annuity payment (e.g. on a monthly basis) to its annuitants for life in exchange for a single premium. The regular annuity payment represents a portion of the single premium and an investment return on the single premium.
  2. The above-mentioned annuity rate is for reference only and not guaranteed. The actual annuity rate offered to the applicant may be higher or lower and will be based on the annuity rate applicable at the time of policy issue. Upon policy issue, the actual annuity rate will be fixed and guaranteed for life.
