Terms and Conditions of CCB (Asia) Credit Card Summer Spend and Rewards Program ("Program"):
  1. PROMOTION PERIOD – From July 15 to October 14, 2024 (both dates inclusive), and is divided into 3 phases:
    • Phase 1 – from July 15 to August 14, 2024;
    • Phase 2 – from August 15 to September 14, 2024;
    • Phase 3 – from September 15 to October 14, 2024.
  2. THE PROGRAM - The Program is only applicable to principal cardmembers of credit cards (except Business Card) ("Card(s)") issued by China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited (the "Bank", "we", "us" or "our") who received the promotional materials (include MMS message/ eDM) (“Promotional Material(s)”) of this Program from the Bank (“Selected Customers” or “you”). Selected Customers must need to have eligible retail spending or any cash advance transactions ("Eligible Transactions") made by the Card during the Promotion Period.
  3. SPENDING AMOUNT, REWARDS – During the Promotion Period, you will be awarded cash rebate by using the same Card to accumulate designated amount of Eligible Transactions in each phase. The Eligible Transactions will be counted by each Card account, and only one Card can be entitled to the rewards in each phase. Transactions made by different Card accounts of a Selected Customer in each phase cannot be combined for the purpose of this Program. Details as follow:

  4. ELIGIBLE RETAIL SPENDING – Retail transactions made in Hong Kong, online transactions, and transactions with original sales slip or official payment record conducted outside Hong Kong.
  5. OVERSEAS PURCHASES - Overseas Purchases for Visa or Mastercard, all transactions effected in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars are converted from the transaction currency into Hong Kong Dollars and charged to the Card Account based on the exchange rate adopted by Visa or Mastercard, as applicable, on the date of conversion. In addition, all transactions effected in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars are subject to a foreign currency conversion fee (representing the charge imposed by Visa or Mastercard on the issuer of the Card) and an overseas transaction fee, in such amounts as set forth in the Fee Schedule. Overseas Purchases for UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card - Save and except for transactions effected in RMB and transacted in Mainland China, all transactions effected in a currency other than HKD including transactions effected in RMB transacted in territories outside Mainland China, including without limitation, Hong Kong or Macau, are converted from the transaction currency into HKD and charged to Cardmember's HKD Card account based on the exchange rate adopted by UnionPay’s prevailing exchange rate on the date of conversion. Cardmember agrees to accept UnionPay’s exchange rates as quoted from time to time without dispute.
  6. EXCLUDED TRANSACTIONS - The following spending will not be qualified as eligible transactions: transactions not posted on or before August 29, 2024 (Phase 1), September 29, 2024 (Phase 2) and October 29, 2024 (Phase 3), fund transfer, balance transfers, installment loans, all interest free installment transactions, electronic wallet transactions/ top-up/ fund transfer (AlipayHK, PayMe, WeChat Pay HK), payment for insurance policies issued by insurance companies, autopay transactions, all Octopus reloading (include Octopus reloading via electronic wallet), “Interest-free $martExpress” transactions, RentSmart transactions, interest-free advance cash out program, bill payment, wire transfers, betting and gambling transactions, recurring transactions, charity donations, phone/fax/mail order, tax payment, fees and charges made or incurred (whether in relation to the Card account(s) or otherwise) and any transactions that have been cancelled or refunded, such other categories as we may at our sole discretion determine from time to time, or which we otherwise decide are not eligible.
  7. If you participate in this Program with CCB (Asia) eye Credit Card: Once successfully registered CCB (Asia) eye Credit Card Dining, Transport and Overseas Spending up to 11% Cash Rebate Program, all the transactions under dining, overseas spending and local transport categories made during the phase(s) you registered in CCB (Asia) eye Credit Card Dining, Transport and Overseas Spending up to 11% Cash Rebate Program will not be counted as Eligible Transactions in this Program.
  8. SUPPLEMENTARY CARDS – Spending or spending installment made by supplementary cardmember(s) of the Card(s) during the Promotion Period will be treated as made by principal cardmember(s) of the Card(s) for the purpose of the Program.
  9. NOTIFICATION OF THE REWARDS - The cash rebate will be credited to your Card account with the highest net spending amount of Eligible Transactions maintained in our record on or before December 31, 2024. Cash Rebate can only be applied against outstanding in Card account statement. Cash Rebate cannot be converted into cash, and / or withdrawn as cash and is not transferable. If the Cash Rebate amount would be drawn by any means as cash or transfer to other accounts, relevant fees and charges will be incurred.
  10. OUR RECORD PREVAILS - Our records of your cash rebate earned under the Program and all our decisions regarding cash rebate shall be final and binding upon you.
  11. ELIGIBILITY - Your eligibility for the Program is subject to our checking on your Card account status and your Card account(s) remaining valid and in good standing (as determined at our discretion) throughout the Promotion Period and at the time when the cash rebate is given. Where cash rebate has been credited to a Card account and there is a subsequent reversal of any transaction(s) in respect of which the cash rebate has been credited, the Bank reserves the rights to debit the cash rebate that has been credited into the Card account(s).
  12. KEEP SALES SLIPS - You have to keep all original sales slips or official payment records of the eligible transactions. In case of dispute, we may ask you to provide these slips, records, and/or further evidence for inspection and we may keep them.
  13. RIGHT TO VARY, ETC. - We reserve the right to vary the Program and/or these Terms and Conditions, or to replace, cancel or withdraw the Program, at our discretion at any time without giving you prior notice.
  14. FINAL DECISION - We retain the final decision in any differences or disputes under the Program, and shall not be responsible or liable for any claims or liability resulting from any cardmember's participation in the Program howsoever suffered or incurred.
  15. ENGLISH VERSION SHALL PREVAIL - In case of any inconsistency between English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
