Terms and Conditions of Octopus Auto Living UnionPay Diamond Credit Card Parking Cash Rebate Program ("Program"):

  1. THE PROGRAM - This Program is only available for the Octopus Auto Living UnionPay Diamond Credit Card ("Card(s)") issued by China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited (the "Bank", "we", "us" or "our") and is only available to cardmembers of the Cards ("Cardmember(s)", "you"). The promotion period of the Program is from January 2, 2024 to June 30, 2024 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotion Period").
  2. REWARDS - During the Promotion Period, upon each Eligible Transactions made by Octopus Auto Living UnionPay Diamond Credit Card, each Eligible Transactions (as defined below in Clause 3) can enjoy HKD5 or full parking fee cash rebate (whichever is lower). The maximum cash rebate will be awarded per month (from first day to the last day of every month during the Promotion Period) is HKD100.
  3. ELIGIBLE TRANSACTIONS – Car Parking Services transaction settled by the Octopus function in Octopus Auto Living UnionPay Diamond Credit Card during Promotion Period, both dates inclusive (based on transaction date). An Eligible Transaction does not include a payment transaction of which the related transaction data has not been received or obtained by Octopus Card Limited ("OCL") from the Car Parking Services at the time when OCL conducts data processing for fulfillment under this Promotion or a payment transaction that is eventually cancelled. The time of completing the Eligible Transactions and the value thereof as recorded in the transaction data received by OCL from Car Parking Services shall be final and conclusive for the purpose of this Promotion. The Car Parking transaction records provided by Octopus Cards Limited shall prevail.
  4. REWARDS FULFILLMENT – The Bank has to obtain a record of the aggregate rebate amount payable by us to you on your such Credit Card in respect of your payment for car parking services ("Transaction Data relating to the Rebate Amount"). Without such Transaction Data relating to the Rebate Amount, the Bank will be unable to provide cash rebate fulfilment to you. The Bank will provide the Octopus identification number of your Credit Card ("Octopus ID") to OCL, and upon receipt of your Octopus ID from the Bank, OCL will disclose the Transaction Data relating to the Rebate Amount on your such Credit Card to the Bank for the duration of your participation in the Program (being the first day of the month during which this application is approved until the date on which the Promotion comes to an end) ("Participation Period"); to enable the purposes of cash rebate fulfilment to you in accordance with the Program Terms and Conditions and/or respond to your enquiries, if applicable, in connection with the Program. Transaction Data relating to the Rebate Amount will only be processed by the Bank strictly for the fulfilment purpose and not for any other purpose.
  5. SUPPLEMENTARY CARDS - All the eligible transactions made by supplementary cardmembers will be counted into the principal card. If the eligible transactions are entitled to cash rebate, the cash rebate will be credited to the corresponding principal Cardmember’s account.
  6. ELIGIBILITY - Eligible Cardmember’s eligibility for the program is subject to the Bank checking on his/her Card account status and the Card account(s) should be valid and in good standing (as determined at the Bank discretion) throughout the promotion period and at the time when the cash rebate is given. The cash rebate will be credited to the Cardmember’s respective credit card accounts within 6 months after the transaction date and shown on the monthly statement. Cash rebate can only be applied against the outstanding in Card account statement and cannot be redeemed/withdrawn in cash nor transferrable. Where Rewards have been credited to a Card account and there is a subsequent reversal of any transaction(s) in respect of which the Reward was awarded, the Bank reserves the rights to debit the Rewards that have been credited into the Card account(s) without notification.
  7. OUR RECORD PREVAILS - Our records of your Rewards earned under the Program and all our decisions regarding cash rebate shall (unless there is an obvious error) be final and binding upon you.
  8. RIGHT TO VARY, ETC. - We reserve the right to vary the Program and/or these Terms and Conditions, or to replace, cancel or withdraw the Program, at our discretion at any time without giving you prior notice.
  9. FINAL DECISION - We retain the final decision in any differences or disputes under the Program, and shall not be responsible or liable for any claims or liability resulting from any Cardmember's participation in the Program howsoever suffered or incurred.
  10. ENGLISH VERSION PREVAILS - In case of any inconsistency between English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
