CCB (Asia) Hong Kong Airlines Fly Away Credit Card Gift Rewards Programme (“Programme”) Terms & Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  1. Programme AVAILABILITY
    This Programme only applies to valid principal card holders (each a “Cardmember”, “you” or “your”) of CCB (Asia) Hong Kong Airlines Fly Away Credit Card ("Card") issued by China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited ("Bank", "we", "us", or "our").
  2. NO CHANGES AFTER REDEMPTION REQUEST SUBMISSION
    ALL Redemptions request (as stated in Clause 11) are irrevocable and may not be changed or withdrawn once the requests are submitted to us.
  3. FINAL DECISION
    We may modify, terminate or withdraw any of the Programmes at any time and have the final decision (at our discretion) in all matters and disputes in relation to the Programmes. We may vary any relevant details and these terms and conditions without prior notice. We shall not be responsible or liable for any claims or liability in relation to use of the Programmes by any Cardmember or other person.
  4. CARDMEMBER AGREEMENT APPLIES All terms and conditions of the CCB (Asia) Credit Card Cardmember Agreement and the CCB (Asia) Credit Card Fee Schedule apply and shall prevail in case of any conflict or inconsistency with these terms and conditions.
  5. ENGLISH VERSION PREVAILS In case of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BONUS POINTS USAGE:

  1. BONUS POINT EARNING
    You will earn Credit Card Bonus Points (“Bonus Points”) for all eligible transactions (“Eligible Transactions”, as defined in Clause 7) conducted by your Card as follows:

    Spending categories

    Bonus Points entitled

    Overseas Spending or Hong Kong Airlines Spending (as defined in Clause 8)

    HK$1 = 1.5 Bonus Points

    Local Spending (as defined in Clause 8)

    HK$1 = 1 Bonus Point


    For the purpose of calculation of Bonus Points earned, Eligible Transactions made by supplementary card(s) under the same principal Card account will be calculated with those made with by the principal Card.
    Odd dollars for each Eligible Transaction will not be eligible to bonus point earning

  2. ELIGIBLE TRANSACTIONS
    Eligible Transactions include spendings on retail purchases (including by-installment arrangements and Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service transactions) and cash advances. Transactions that do not earn Bonus Points are (including but not limited to): "Cash Out" Installment Programme, "FUN Express" Installment Programme, settlement through Online Personal Banking Service for insurance loan repayment, tax payment, payment for MPF contribution, finance charges, late charges, and other fees and charges imposed by the Bank, or other categories as we may at our sole discretion determine from time to time.
  3. SPENDING CATEGORIES

    Overseas Spending

    Eligible Transactions made in any currency other than Hong Kong dollars

    Hong Kong Airlines Spending

    Eligible Transactions made at Hong Kong Airlines Ticketing Office, Hong Kong Airlines Lounges, via Hong Kong Airlines website or Hong Kong Airlines Call Centre, or on flight with Hong Kong Airlines

    Local Spending

    Eligible Transactions made in HK$ (exclude Hong Kong Airlines Spending)

  4. CAP ON DESIGNATED TRANSACTIONS TO EARN BONUS POINTS
    Each Card account will be subject to a cap on the total amount of online bill payment and payment to insurance companies that are eligible for earning Bonus Points in each calendar year (From 1 January to 31 December) (“Calendar Year”) , which is equivalent to the value of 12 times of the prevailing permanent combined credit limit.
  5. CREDITING OF BONUS POINTS
    Bonus Points will be credited to a Card account at the time when an Eligible Transaction is posted. For interest-free purchase-by-installment transactions, Bonus Points will be credited when an installment is posted to the Card account. In the event that any Bonus Points has been credited to a Card account and the transaction(s) in respect of which Bonus Points have been earned is/are determined not to be an Eligible Transaction by us at our sole and absolute discretion, we have the right to debit the equivalent amount of Bonus Point from the Card account without prior notice.
  6. USE OF BONUS POINTS
    Bonus Points cannot be converted into cash and are not transferrable. You can choose to enroll in one of the following reward Programmes upon application of the Card. Subsequent change in the reward Programme will not be allowed.
    1. Fortune Wings Club Points Auto Conversion Programme (“Auto Conversion Programme”)
      Bonus Points accumulated in your Card account will be used to redeem FWC Points automatically (at a conversion rate of 6 Bonus Points = 1 FWC Point) on every statement date in accordance to Clause 17 (“Monthly Conversion”). Bonus Points that cannot be converted into FWC Points in previous statement month(s) via Monthly Conversion will be carried forward to the next statement month. You can also perform Redemption as described in Clause 11(ii)(a) in between Monthly Conversions. Bonus Points cannot be used to redeem any other rewards, except FWC Points, upon successful enrollment into the Auto Conversion Programme.
    2. Fly Away Bonus Point Rewards Programme (“Rewards Programme”)
      Bonus Points can be used to redeem the following rewards upon request (“Redemption”):
    1. FWC Points (at a conversation rate of 6 Bonus Points = 1 FWC Point) in accordance to clause 17 (“FWC Points Redemption”)
    2. Designated merchant coupons (“Coupon”) in accordance to clause 20 (“Coupon Redemption”)
    3. Cash Rebate: Successfully redeemed cash rebates will be credited to the Account upon deduction of the applicable Bonus Points. Details will be shown in the Cardmember's subsequent monthly statement
    Both Monthly Conversion and Redemption can only be processed if your Card account is valid and in good credit status. Bonus Points required for Monthly Conversion and Redemption will be deducted from the respective Card accounts. All such transaction details will appear in the following monthly statements of the respective Card accounts.
  7. BONUS POINTS EXPIRY
    Bonus points earned are valid for up to 2 years and will be forfeited without notice on the last day of the following calendar year. For example, bonus point earned during 1 January, 2018 to 31 December, 2018 will be expired on 31 December, 2019. Bonus point earned during 1 January, 2019 to 31 December, 2019 will be expired on 31 December, 2020.
  8. CONSOLIDATION OF BONUS POINTS
    Bonus Points earned with this Card cannot be combined with the bonus points earned with any other cards issued by us.
  9. INSUFFICIENT BONUS POINTS
    In the event of insufficient Bonus Points in the Card account, the Redemption request will be automatically cancelled without notice or the Bank will have the sole discretion to process part of the Redemption request if it includes more than one redemption item.
  10. FORFEITURE OF BONUS POINTS
    Any fraud or abuse committed in relation to the Programme (including, without limitation, the earning of any Bonus Points or in connection with any Redemption request) may result in the forfeiture of any accrued Bonus Points as well as the cancellation of a Cardmember's Card account(s).


TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF FORTUNE WINGS CLUB POINTS REDEMPTION AND CREDITING:

  1. RESTRICTIONS ON FORTUNE WINGS CLUB POINTS REDEMPTION
    Except for Monthly Conversion, each FWC Points Redemption will be subject to a minimum redemption quantity of 500 FWC Points (i.e. 3,000 Bonus Points) and any quantity above such must be in its multiplier.
  2. FORTUNE WINGS CLUB POINTS CREDITING Your Card account and the FWC membership account with which your Card is associated (“Associated FWC Account”) have to be valid and in good standing when you place a FWC Points Redemption request or when the FWC Points are credited into the Associated FWC Account.
    Your name, FWC membership number, and number of FWC Points to be credited (“Relevant Information”) will be passed to Hainan Airlines Co., Ltd (“HU”, operator of FWC) and its agents for the purpose of FWC Points crediting.
    1. Monthly Conversion:
      We will pass Relevant Information to HU within 5 working days from the statement date. Upon receiving the Relevant Information from the Bank, HU will credit the FWC Points to the Associated FWC Account within 7 working days
    2. FWC Points Redemption:We will pass Relevant Information to HU within 10 working days upon receiving your FWC Points Redemption request. Upon receiving Relevant Information from the Bank, HU will credit the FWC Points to the Associated FWC Account within 7 working days.
  3. NOTIFICATION IN RELATION TO FORTUNE WINGS CLUB POINTS CREDITING
    1. Monthly Conversion: A notification letter will be mailed to your correspondence address within 3 weeks from the statement date when HU is unable to credit FWC Points to the Associated FWC Account. No notification letter will be mailed to you if the crediting of FWC Points is successful.
    2. FWC Points Redemption: A notification letter will be mailed to your correspondence address within 10 working days upon receipt of your FWC Redemption request, no matter the Redemption request is successful or not. You shall contact us via our Customer Services Hotline at +852 3179 5533 if you fail to receive the notification letter within such period.
  4. DISCLAIMERS FOR FORTUNE WINGS CLUB POINTS REDEMPTION AND CREDITING
    We make no warranty that any FWC Points will be accurately credited to the FWC membership account by HU and accept no liability for failure or delay in the crediting of FWC Points to the principal Cardmembers’ FWC membership accounts for any reason beyond our control. The validity and use of any FWC Points redeemed shall be subject to the relevant usage instructions and terms and conditions set by HU, please visit FWC website at http://ffp.hnair.com for details. We shall not act as, or assume any liability of, a product / service supplier or agent of HU. Any claim, complaint, or dispute concerning the FWC Points shall be referred to and resolved directly with HU, which shall in no way relieve such Cardmember from his / her payment or other obligations to us.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF COUPON REDEMPTION:

  1. COUPON REDEMPTION
    You can redeem designated Coupons with required Bonus Points via online application or completing a physical redemption form. Unless otherwise specified, the Coupon or a redemption letter will be mailed to your correspondence address approximately 4 to 6 weeks upon receipt of your Redemption request if such Redemption is successful. You shall contact us via our Customer Services Hotline at +852 3179 5533 if you do not receive the Coupon/ a redemption letter within such period.
  2. DISCLAIMER FOR COUPON REDEMPTION
    All Coupon Redemption requests are subject to availability of the relevant Coupons, and shall be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. In the event that the Coupon selected is out of stock, we reserve the right to substitute with alternative gift without prior notice. We will not provide notice of or any change in Redemption and/or Bonus Points requirements. Coupon is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Coupon is irreplaceable in the case of loss or damage. We are not responsible for and shall have no liability in respect of the quality of the products and services provided by the supplier of the Coupon. Use of the Coupon is subject to the supplier’s terms and conditions. Any claim, complaint, or dispute in connection with any such Coupon shall be addressed to and resolved directly with its supplier, which shall in no way relieve such Cardmember from his/her payment and other obligations to us.
