About Google Pay

1.What is Google Pay?

Google Pay is a mobile payment service that utilizes Near Field Communication (NFC) to initiate secure transactions between contactless payment terminals and Android digital devices.

2.What do I need to use Google Pay?

For details of compatible Google Pay devices, see www.support.google.com/googlepay. Please notice that customers are not able to download Google Pay if the device is not compactable with Google Pay.

3.How does Google Pay work?

Google Pay uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology to complete contactless transactions. NFC allows wireless communication of electronic devices over short distances. A NFC contactless reader at checkout plus NFC-equipped mobile devices with Andriod version-Lollipop (5.0) or higher are needed to perform contactless payment.
If you have another contactless payment app on your phone: In your phone's Settings app, make Google Pay the default payment app.

There are no extra charges for using Google Pay. However, Fee Schedule for CCB (Asia) Credit Card still applies to Google Pay transactions.

Using Google Pay is secure and private. Google creates a unique virtual account number for your payment information. During the process, Google does not have access to or store the actual Credit Card number added to Google Pay. Also Google stores your payment information on Google secure servers and encrypts it with industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology. If your Android digital device is ever lost or stolen, you can use Android Device Manager
(https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager)
to find and erase your device record.
