How to pay tax with credit card?
Remarks:
- To be eligible for the cash rebate, you must be the first 2,100 selected customer who have successfully register, accumulating tax payment of HK$10,000 and accumulating retail spending of HK$3,000 with your card during the Registration and Payment Period. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. If you settle a number of Tax Demand Notes and make retail spendings with various credit cards, tax payment and retail spending amount will be counted cumulatively.
- First time means no Tax Payment transaction(s) through our Mobile/Online Banking Online Bill Payment Services during January 1 to December 31, 2025.
- The total maximum cash rebate of Offer 1 and Offer 2 will be awarded for each customer throughout the entire promotion period is HK$850.

Terms and Conditions of CCB (Asia) Credit Card Tax Bill Payment Privilege Wave 2 (the "Program"):
- This Program is only applicable to principal cardmembers ("you") of credit cards (except Business Card) ("Card(s)") issued by China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited (the "Bank", "we", "us" or "our").
- The promotion period is from January 15, 2026 to 12:00 noon of February 27, 2026 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
- Registration must be made during the below registration period at CCB (HK&MO) Mobile App (Login CCB (Asia) Mobile Banking > Tap “Credit Card / Loan” in the bottom bar > Scroll down to “Featured Offers” on Credit Card page and tap to register the Promotion). If you have more than one Card, registration of one of your Cards will automatically register all of other Cards under your name.
- You will be given a registration reference number upon successful registration. Registration and Payment Period ("Registration Period", "Payment Period") is from 10:00 a.m. of January 15, 2026 to 12:00 noon of February 27, 2026.
- You must be the first 2,100 Customers who have successfully register during the registration period. The registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. No registration will be accepted outside the registration period. Please note that the relevant time must be in Hong Kong time in accordance with our system and record.
- We will process tax payment according to the cut-off time shown on the Mobile Banking app or Online Banking website at the time of submission.
- Your Card account must have sufficient credit limit and must be in good standing at the time when you are using the Online Bill Payment Service.
- You must provide all necessary information and tax payment details through Online Bill Payment Service, including (a) Shroff Account Number; (b) Tax Payment Amount; and (c) Card account that will be debited for Tax Payment Amount. All relevant information provided will be considered as accurate and no further verification with any parties will be made by the Bank. Upon confirmation through Online Bill Payment Service, the Bank will process the tax payment according to your instruction.
- During the Promotion Period, Customers can enjoy the cash rebate (“Cash Rebate”) of below offer upon settling salaries tax and personal assessments ("Tax Payment") successfully for accumulated transaction(s) of HK$10,000 or above through Online Bill Payment Service and accumulated Eligible Retail Spending ("Eligible Retail Spending") of HK$3,000 or above by any Cards under this Program. If you settle a number of Tax Demand Notes with various Cards, tax payment amount and Eligible Retail Spending amount will be counted cumulatively.

Accumulated Amount of Online Tax Bill Payment Cash Rebate Maximum Cash Rebate during the whole Promotion Period HK$10,000 – HK$29,999 HK$50 HK$800 HK$30,000 – HK$59,999 HK$200 HK$60,000 – HK$199,999 HK$300 HK$200,000 or above HK$800 Offer 2:Customer who settling Tax Payment for accumulated transaction(s) of HK$10,000 or above through Online Bill Payment by any Cards for the first time (no Tax Payment transaction through our Mobile/Online Banking Online Bill Payment Service during January 1 to December 31, 2025) will enjoy a HK$50 cash rebate. - Eligible Retail Spending include retail transactions made in Hong Kong, online transactions, and transactions with original sales slip or official payment record conducted outside Hong Kong.
- The following spending will not be qualified as Eligible Retail Spending, include transactions not posted on or before March 15, 2026 , fund transfer, balance transfers, installment loans, all interest free installment transactions, payment made by electronic wallet (AlipayHK, PayMe, WeChat Pay HK) transactions/ top-up/ fund transfer, payment for insurance policies issued by insurance companies, autopay transactions, all Octopus reloading (include Octopus reloading via electronic wallet), RentSmart transactions, interest-free advance cash out program, bill payment, wire transfers, betting and gambling transactions, recurring transactions, charity donations, phone/fax/mail order, cash advance, tax payment, fees and charges made or incurred (whether in relation to the Card account(s) or otherwise) and any transactions that have been cancelled or refunded, such other categories as we may at our sole discretion determine from time to time, or which we otherwise decide are not eligible.
- Overseas Purchases for Visa or Mastercard, all transactions effected in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars are converted from the transaction currency into Hong Kong Dollars and charged to the Card Account based on the exchange rate adopted by Visa or Mastercard, as applicable, on the date of conversion. In addition, all transactions effected in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars are subject to a foreign currency conversion fee (representing the charge imposed by Visa or Mastercard on the issuer of the Card) and an overseas transaction fee, in such amounts as set forth in the Fee Schedule. Overseas Purchases for UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card - Save and except for transactions effected in RMB and transacted in Mainland China, all transactions effected in a currency other than HKD including transactions effected in RMB transacted in territories outside Mainland China, including without limitation, Hong Kong or Macau, are converted from the transaction currency into HKD and charged to Cardmember's HKD Card account based on the exchange rate adopted by UnionPay’s prevailing exchange rate on the date of conversion. Cardmember agrees to accept UnionPay’s exchange rates as quoted from time to time without dispute.
- The maximum Cash Rebate of Offer 1 and Offer 2 will be awarded for each Customer throughout the entire promotion period is HK$800 and HK$50 respectively. The total maximum Cash Rebate of this Program will be awarded for each Customer is HK$850.
- To enjoy the Cash Rebate, all tax payments (including scheduled payments) shall be made during the Payment Period. Transaction date and time of the Bank's record shall prevail.
- All the online tax payment or spending made by supplementary cardmember(s) of the Card(s) during the Promotion Period will be treated as made by principal cardmember(s) of the Card(s) for the purpose of the Program.
- The corresponding transaction(s) for the Online Bill Payment Service shall be shown on the monthly statement. You are responsible to check the tax payment status and whether the tax payment has been made successfully. You should bear all risks related to the tax payment instruction under this Program.
- The Cash Rebate will be credited to your Card account with the highest Tax Payment amount maintained in our record on or before May 31, 2026. The Cash Rebate can only be applied against the outstanding in the Card account statement and cannot be converted into cash, and/ or withdrawn as cash advance nor transferable.
- All the spending of Tax Payment made by Card account through our Online Bill Payment Service is not eligible for any bonus points under the CCB (Asia) Credit Card Bonus Points Rewards Program.
- Our records of your Cash Rebate earned under the Program and all our decisions regarding Cash Rebate shall be final.
- Your eligibility for the Program is subject to our checking on your Card account status and your Card account(s) remaining valid and in good standing (as determined at our discretion) throughout the Promotion Period and at the time when the Cash Rebate is given. Where Cash Rebate has been credited to a Card account and there is a subsequent reversal of any transaction(s) in respect of which the Cash Rebate has been credited, the Bank reserves the rights to debit the Cash Rebate that has been credited into the Card account(s).
- We reserve the right to vary the Program and/or these Terms and Conditions, or to replace, cancel or withdraw the Program, at our discretion at any time without giving you prior notice.
- When you make a payment via Online Bill Payment Service, you will be considered to authorize the Bank to provide and receive relevant information relevant to this Program to and from Inland Revenue Department or any parties, and keep the information provided for reference and verification purposes.
- All the Terms and Conditions of Online Banking Services Agreement and CCB (Asia) Credit Card Cardmember Agreement and CCB (Asia) Credit Card Fee Schedule (“Fee Schedule”) are applicable to this Program. In case of any inconsistency between those and the Terms and Conditions under this Program, the former shall prevail.
- The Bank shall not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, costs or expenses (especially the surcharge or penalty imposed by Inland Revenue Department as a result of any delay or void of the tax payment) suffered by the cardmember.
- We retain the final decision in any differences or disputes under the Program, and shall not be responsible or liable for any claims or liability resulting from any cardmember's participation in the Program howsoever suffered or incurred.
- In case of any inconsistency between English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
