Terms and Conditions for CCB (Asia) TRAVO World Mastercard Travel Insurance
- Registration Period: From now until June 30, 2026.
- This offer is applicable to CCB (Asia) TRAVO World Mastercard, including Principal and Supplementary (Eligible Cards) Cardholders aged between eighteen (18) and sixty-nine (69) years (Eligible Cardholders).
- Eligible Cardholders are required to complete the Travel Insurance Benefit registration process prior to the commencement of their trips.
- Insured Persons include Eligible Cardholders, their spouse and up to 3 Children, whether traveling together or separately on a Covered Trip. The Policy offers coverage only to the Insured Person(s) ordinarily resident in Hong Kong.
- Coverage is valid for round trips up to one hundred eighty (180) days where the entire cost of the Common Carrier fare was purchased using the Eligible Card and commencing within twelve (12) months from the date of Your registration.
- Covered Trip includes an Insured Person’s land, sea or air travel arrangements for a scheduled tour, trip or cruise purchased with the Eligible Card that starts on or after the Eligible Cardholder’s registration. For round trips, coverage will be from the departure date until the return date as shown on the ticket purchased with the Eligible Card. For one-way trips, coverage will be from the departure date up to a maximum of seven (7) days for Travel Medical Benefits, and up to forty-eight (48) hours for other benefits. - The travel insurance referred to in this document is underwritten by AIG Asia Pacific Insurance Ptd. Ltd. (“AIG”). The above is intended only as a general summary for reference. The scope of coverage, exclusion, indemnity limits and compensation are subject to the detailed terms and conditions of relevant insurance policy document issued by AIG which will be amended by AIG from time to time. In case of enquiries, claims, disputes and complaints, Eligible Cardholders should directly contact AIG.
- With regard to the travel insurance, China Construction Bank (Asia) (the “Bank”) is not an insurance agent of AIG or Eligible Cardholders’ insurance broker. There is also no contract of insurance between Eligible Cardholders and AIG. The Bank is not responsible for any liabilities and obligations in relation to the travel insurance.
- Should there be any inconsistence between the English and Chinese versions of the terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
