Free Upgrade Protection on Outbound Travel Alert (OTA) System

  • "Trip Cancellation" Benefit
    The "Trip Cancellation" benefit under this Policy shall be extended to cover irrecoverable loss of travel expenses paid in advance that an Insured Person sustains as a direct result of the issuance of Black Alert signal by the Security Bureau of HKSAR to the place(s) of travel scheduled, provided that the Policy is issued at least 24 hours before the Black Alert signal is first issued.
  • "Curtailment Expenses" Benefit
    The "Curtailment Expenses" benefit under this Policy shall be extended to pay for additional or irrecoverable loss of expenses incurred on travel and accommodation due to the curtailment of the Journey as a direct result of the issue of Black Alert signal by the Security Bureau of HKSAR to the place(s) of travel.

Both Benefits are subject to the terms, exclusions and conditions of the Policy.
